I had a great weekend! Worked Friday night... gotta make money for Kalel's 1st Christmas- I cant wait!!! I got off of work Saturday morning at 7am, went grocery shopping for WIC stuff, came home and took a shower, went to the bank, almost ran out of gas sitting in the drive-thru (LOL), put gas in the truck. and then came and took a 2 hour nap. Anthony left for work at noon so I had to get up... after no sleep- had a surprisingly really good day with Kalel!
Got all my cleaning done Friday before work so didnt have to do any house work. Got invited to go out with the OV crew on Flagler- Jackie & Eric paid for me because I am broke until Wednesday! Had a surprisingly great night despite the fact that all but 3 of the people that went out with us were old enough to be my parents (good peeps though!!!) Owe Jackie & Eric big time next time we go out! Anthony's Mom came over the house and watched Kalel... was supposed to be until Ant got off of work, but he ended up coming out with us when he got off. So, I kind of felt bad when we both got home around 2:15am! But, Anthony said that she wasn't mad or anything so that's good. After eating some McDs went to bed around 3am today. Anthony got up with Kalel this morning and then I had to get up around 11:30am so he could take me to go get my truck off of Flagler before he went to work. Was completely ecstatic that I did not wake up with a hangover! I didnt even have a headache- AWESOME! Drank like 4 glasses of water though, I felt SOO dehydrated! Has another great day with Kalel! Today for the first time he got one of the toys off the little hook on his play mat! I know Im a nerd for getting excited over this, but my little boy is getting so smart! I took a pic and sent it to Anthony and two of my friends. Gotta put that on the Baby's 1st Year calendar now. Went to dinner at Nana's with the family and then after eating found myself SOO exhausted! The last few days of hardly any sleep finally caught up with me! Came home and got Kalel ready for bed and while trying to get him to go to sleep... put myself to sleep LOL. Slept snuggled with my little man for about an hour and then put him in his crib and laid down on the couch and fell back asleep until 1am when Ant got home from work. Had some German Chocolate cake (DOUBLE YUM!!!) and a glass of milk... and now Anthony is sleeping on the couch and I am wide awake... LOL. Its almost as if my body is getting used to running on power naps. It's my turn to wake up with Kalel in the morning so I should really be trying to get some sleep, but I did already take a 4 hour nap.... He will be up in about 4 hours, gonna attempt to get some laundry folded after I feed him breakfast and grab a little bite to eat myself. Would like to go visit my Mom tomorrow, but we will see how the day turns out.
I cant wait, this week is going to be good! Ant is off Tuesday, dinner at Nana's, working Tuesday night, Anthony gets paid on Wednesday (paying the rest of the bills for November), Ant is off Thursday, going to Ford Mullinax and maybe a few other places to look at some new SUVs (because I really want to trade mine in), dinner at Nana's house, working Thursday and Friday night, and Friday is my payday! (For once in months we will actually have some extra money). Over the weekend going to get some MUCH NEEDED shopping done for the house I have a huge list, since we havent really had money to do so lately! Grocery shopping, and then buying some other things that we have been needing.
Cant wait til Thanksgiving... it will be our little Turkey's 1st! I cant believe how big he is getting- he will be 3 months old the day before Thanksgiving and he will be 4 months on Christmas day! That is going to be so excited... who knew how exciting Christmas can be when you have kids? It makes everything worth it, even though he wont really know what is going on this year it is going to be fun. Me and Anthony set a $100 budget on eachother and we are spending the rest on Kalel! Which, this year is only going to be about $500-$600. And he is only 4 months old- he is going to be sooo spoiled when he is older Lol. But, I am a firm believer in giving your kids all the things that you grew up with and the things you had to do without! My Mom never made alot of money, but my Christmas was always awesome!
