Rough day with booger butt...

The title of this blog really doesn't even come close to the day that I had with Kalel! I love my baby boy more than anything, but today was horrible!
Lets start with yesterday I had to get up at 7:45am because we had an appointment at the WIC office to get new checks for the month (which they screwed up on but thats another story). This was after only getting a few hours of sleep and getting up with Kalel earlier that morning at about 5am. So after I go to the appointment we went to the grocery store to get some WIC stuff then we came home at about 10:30am. My Mom was supposed to come over within the hour, but she didnt. Anthony had to go to a meeting at work and at about 1pm I told him I was gonna try and go take a nap since I had to be at work last night. Well he says that he had to leave early because his Dad paid for him to get 2 new front tires on his car (THANK GOD! because we cannot afford it right now) so i tried to lay down and take a nap and Kalel was actually sleeping! So I fall asleep for like 20 mins and my Mom knocks on the door! So I had to get up her and Amber only stayed until about 2pm, but then Kalel was awake so I couldnt right back to my nap. I fell asleep about 2:30pm and Anthony came home about 3pm and woke me up (grrr.... ) but then he took Kalel and let me go back to my nap I slept until about 5pm and then we had to go to Nana's for dinner. Then we came home and I had to get Kalel ready for bed and get ready for work!

So I left the house to go to work last at 10pm after getting about 4 hours of sleep and less than a 3 hour nap (because I kept getting woken up) I was already superrr tired. And to make matters worse I didnt have money to stop at Dunkin Donuts first and get a coffee! Then I get to work and surprise surprise I had to work on 700! Its too horrible up there... I just hate it though it is so nerve racking! So about half way through the night I scrounge up enough change to get a mountain dew and a twix for some energy lol.... and the freaken soda machine takes my money!!! Well Michelle ended up giving me some change, but still I was pissed! The night didnt go too bad until I realized that the next morning (this morning) we had a CNA meeting at 6:35am! So, I was doing my last rounds this morning and I was doing really good I was practically finished until one of the ladies that I was told was continent, pissed all in her bed and I had to change her and the bed! Then when I come out it was like 6:35 on the dot. The aide that was supposed to be taking my group was out in the hallway and there was two lights on. So, I tell her that I have to go to the meeting. Then I kinda felt bad, so I ran and answered the one light and the lady had to go to the bathroom so I take her the bathroom and tell her to put the light on when she is finished. Then I go downstairs to the meeting and made it right on time. Well the meeting didnt get over until like 5mins to 7am. So, I had to go back upstairs and give the aide report for my group (which I did as best as I could, but Im not used to working up there) and she was like giving me attitude! Or at least that is what it seemed like! Then I go and clock out and remember that I have to go in the employee dining room and sign up for the next CPR class this month because my CPR license is expired. So I go to do it and the only class left in this month is on November 25th, which is a Wednesday! That just sucks because I work every Tuesdays the class is from 8am to 12noon and I will have to go as soon as I get off of work that morning (so I will be at OV for 13 and half hours!!!). And then to make it worse I will be getting home as soon as Anthony is going to be leaving for work and I most likely wont get any sleep because Kalel will be up!

Anyways back to today, I get home from work at 7:30am this morning. I had to take a shower and went to bed at about 8am. Then Anthony was just getting up with Kalel. He started screaming and Anthony wasnt even doing anything about it at about 9am. So finally I got annoyed and got up and got the baby and calmed him down... (he had to burp) then I gave him back to Anthony and he started to cry again so I brought him in the room with me and he went to sleep. Until he woke back up at about 10am. So I brought him back out to Anthony and he fed him, while I went back to sleep. Anthony woke me up at 12noon and I came out to the loving room and tried to go back to sleep on the couch and Kalel started screaming! And he pretty much did that ALL DAY LONG! At about 6:30-7pm I gave Kalel a bath and got him ready for bed. He was fine and dandy! I gave him a bottle and he started to fall asleep, so I went and put him into bed just like I always do every night (he usually falls alseep on his own with no problems). But, tonight he started screaming and I texted Anthony too see what he thought I should do, Anthony said to just leave him and let him cry himself to sleep and just check on him... so I waited about 10mins and he stopped crying so I went to check and he was still awake, I covered him back up and gave his binky again and turned his music back on.... as soon as I left the room he started to scream again. Then, he stopped about 10mins later, so I went to check on him and he was finally asleep at about 9:30pm!!!

OMG!!! I dont ever want to relive a day like this again I was literally in tears several times today because I could not figure out what was wrong with Kalel and he would not stop crying and screaming no matter what I did!
